About me
I support individuals, families and leaders in navigating complexity, difficult relationships and meaningful change — whether the challenge involves family relationships, intimate partnerships, major life transitions, organisational change or leadership decisions. I offer family therapy, training and leadership advisory in English and Estonian.
I am training as a family therapist and work within a systemic family therapy framework. My focus is on understanding relationship patterns, creating space for safe and meaningful dialogue, restoring the capacity for cooperation, and supporting lasting change.
I believe that people, couples, families and organisations often already hold important resources for resolving difficulties. My role is to help make those resources more visible and easier to use.
My therapeutic work is supported by nearly 30 years of experience in leadership, international business and organisational development. I have held executive, financial, strategic, product and digital leadership roles across international corporations, start-ups and the public sector. I originally trained in systems analysis and have long been drawn to systems thinking, including the study of complex adaptive systems. Looking at problems and opportunities through a systemic lens often reveals connections and possibilities that might otherwise remain hidden.

Professional background
In the international private sector, I spent more than 15 years at Oracle Corporation, with responsibilities spanning regional financial leadership, operations and partner networks across Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This experience deepened my understanding of multicultural teams, diverse value systems and complex stakeholder environments.
I was also a co-founder and CEO of Kodasema (KODA by Kodasema), helping to lead a period of radical innovation that brought the company international recognition. This work gave me first-hand insight into the human and organisational dimensions of transformative change.
Within the public sector, I have led national-level digital development initiatives, including work to transform digital construction and spatial planning, and worked extensively in complex, high-pressure environments. My consulting work continues to support leaders and organisations navigating change, crisis, difficult decisions, digital transformations and organisational development.
Alongside my professional work, I have contributed to non-profit and educational initiatives through board and advisory roles, particularly in areas related to children’s wellbeing and social impact.
I hold a degree in Economic Engineering from Tallinn University of Technology (cum laude). I am currently in the later stages of a five-year training programme in systemic family therapy at Kiira Järve Family Therapy School, followed by supervised clinical practice.
I continue my professional development through ongoing training in both systemic therapy and leadership-related fields.
Writing and other interests
My longstanding interest in inner life, meaning and relationships is also reflected in my writing. My novel Tõeline jumalaosake received the Betti Alver Literary Award (2014), and Õnnelik prints was recognised in the Estonian Writers’ Union Novel Competition (2019). I have also published a collection of short reflections and poetry, and served as editor of the first edition of Katrin Saali Saul’s Stepfamily Handbook.
I live with my partner in a blended family and am the father of three daughters of very different ages.
